Finally…I have great New Years plans! I am so excited that HATCH has been chosen to do the design for the first wedding to be held at Times Square this New Year’s Eve. Our good friend Annie Lee of Daughter of Design is the planner so I know how amazing this is going to be. Getmarried.com is spearheading the event and we couldn’t be more thrilled to work with them on this history-making event!
GetMarried.com is an interactive wedding resource and shop filled with tips, trends and inspiration. GetMarried.com includes products as seen in the magazine, videos and webisodes, as well as a blog, articles, image galleries and wedding planning tools.
Stay tuned for more details!

I absolutely love the next series of pictures that Jen Huang shot for us. I’ve been obsessed with sap buckets since I lived in Colorado where some guys from North Carolina with a truck full of amazing treasures would pull up every 6 months to the home furnishings store I worked at. We would rummage through the truck for new merchandise. Sap buckets were always one of my favorite things they would bring. The aged tin combined with some of the best colors I’ve ever seen completely won me over and I would end up buying all of them. I recently came across a great collection of them and once again could not turn them away.
We were recently so incredibly lucky to do a photo shoot with Jen Huang. Jen is one of my favorite photographers and you’ll see why in the totally amazing photos she took of some of our new designs. Our first post of the series is all about one of our favorite color combinations and some Hatch crafted lace flowers that just make us smile. This post is one of many that Jen captured for us so stay tuned for more. All the images were shot on film and I’m kinda addicted to the look of them right now. Check out her site for a world of more incredible photos. www.jenhuangphotography.com
So happy for one of our recent weddings to be published on Style Me Pretty today. Maggie Harkov took some seriously amazing pictures and Lauren and Mitch were the greatest couple. Here’s a sneak peak but click the link below for the full feature.

Check out the photos of our last event that we designed. So fun hanging out with Iron Man.
We had the incredible opportunity last week to work on a set at Madame Tussauds for their new wax figure Dorothy. Hatch had so much fun creating the landscaping and is still dreaming of pink poppies. We were not alone in this design though. The guys at Jellio (one of my favorite design companies) are truly amazing as they were responsible for the overall production and fabrication of Emerald City. Big thanks to Mario Marsicano (event producer), Chris Lenox (graphic design), Kevin Champeny (fabricator) and Erik Watts (creative director) Last shout out goes to Big Apple Visual Group for making that yellow brick road more then we could have ever hoped for.
Hatch Creative Studio is proud to support Funny For Fido. As a mom to a former homeless dog I was so happy when my good friend and hilarious comedian Justin Silver asked me to help his amazing non-profit.

White weddings seem to be back in high demand this year. Here’s a sneak peak at the past two weekends of a few great white weddings we designed.
TRIBECA ROOFTOP, NYC
We opened Nest Event Loft about a year ago and Hatch has been having a great time…nesting. Every so often we change our look at the loft. We’re happy to offer various decor options to all of our clients so they can just come on in and have a great party with a built in atmosphere. Our current look is of course full of birch and moss and lots of fun little details. Were also happy to remove our little forest for you should you have another vision for your event. Let us know all your fun ideas. We’d love to help you bring them to life. In the meantime, enjoy the beautiful photos by 1. art beauty life: jenny ebert photography. Thanks Jenny!
